I purchased my first pair of Golden Goose sneakers a few months ago (and shared them first in this post!), and received a number of questions about them since then. So many that I decided it was finally time to do a full write-up! I’ve also broken them in well that I understand how they really perform, and a bunch of related details about them, which you’ll find explored in this post.

Where can I find a pair like yours?
I found mine on discount via Cettire and snagged them that way!
I ordered them on April 28th and they were at my door by the 30th, so the shipping was really quick – definitely a bonus
How expensive are they?

How does the sizing run?

How comfy are they?

How do they perform over time?
They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and I’m impressed with the durability. The laces are intact, and the structure feels strong. Thanks to the vintage look, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
How are they vs. other brands?
They’re the highest quality sneakers I have. I love my Vejas and Tretorns, but Golden Goose still come out on top. They have a hidden arch lift that adds just over an inch — making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they’re not mass-produced, so each pair is one of a kind. And the glitter on mine? Absolutely gorgeous.
Would you buy again?
Yes! Though I suggest looking for a deal. They’re expensive, so getting them on sale is a better idea. I’d pay several hundred for the quality, especially if you pick something you’ll wear a lot. I chose a loud pair, but a minimalist version would also look great.

Is the comfort worth it?
They felt good almost immediately. I recommend wearing no-shows, especially since they reduce sweat. High-end Italian leather construction, so it’s much more easy than breaking in synthetic materials. Bonus, they’re already broken-in so your feet just slide in.
How do they perform over time?
They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they still look great. No glitter has fallen off, and the structure feels strong.
Because they already look worn, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
